Just some of my photographs. Mainly abstract shots and outdoor photography – landscape and nature themes. And anything else that looks like it might make a good image.
Graham, I like that a lot! Good picture – the inclusion of the giant red Y makes it – and spot on title too – it does what it says on the can! I’m going to reblog it. Adrian

Here’s a photo from Graham of a different type, of something that I haven’t seen many of. Its a collection of juxtaposed but disparate objects and I think it works very well. At the back are those clinically clean-cut windows, those on the right especially looking almost stylised. Then, mid-ground, the sculpture of Mandela, massive, hard, dark, determined – very different in all ways from the paler backdrop, and not overlapping the structures in that backdrop.. Finally, the whole thing is finished off by the huge and only partly seen red letter Y in the foreground, which overlaps both of the other two picture elements, as well as being totally different from them – in terms of size, colour and content. This is a well thought out and “different” picture which I like a lot. FATman

Thank you Adrian, I really appreciate that.

I love this…it’s literally what the title says! Such random things all together – nice shot!
Thank you Helen – normally I look for some sort of unity in a shot, but I think this time the disparate images worked well.
